Making pictures with Lisa Stickley
Lisa uses a variety of techniques to create her illustrations, from collage, line drawing, block-printing and pen and ink. Making pictures with Lisa is a super fun workshop for all ages from 3+ inspired by Lisa's new book Handstand. Very little ones (aged 3-4) can make pictures by 'dressing up' the Edith in outfits with pre made sticky patterns. Slightly older ones (4+) can make pictures inspired by the book, learning about collage and printing.

Brush Lettering Workshop
Monday, June 6th, 7:30 till 9:30pm
Teri Muncey, designer, stylist, illustrator, crafter and creator of award-winning blog, The Lovely Drawer, will be teaching you the basics of contemporary brush lettering. Starting with brush techniques, you will master pressure, control and stroke contrast which will then be used as a foundation to start building letter forms and laying out quotes and phrases, with the aim of creating a final piece. Each person will be provided with all materials needed, including a brush, ink and paper as well as guide sheets. These can then be taken away to practise and perfect your skills. You will come away confident with the technique and beginning to master your very own style. Ink might not come out of fabric, so please dress accordingly! £45 ticket price incldues materials and refreshments.

LIve creatures, talks from junior paleontologists and science educators, meet the author and build a timeline. An afternoon of Natural History delights. Science Educator, Tim Maynard of Maynard's Mini Zoo will be introducing his collection of snakes, reptiles and insects for folks to handle. Ply Bateman, junior paleontologist and natural historian, will be displaying his collection of fossils, a stuffed crocodile, the rattle from a rattle snake, a woolly mammoth's rib and much more from Ply's Mini Museum. Catherine Barr, author of The Story of Life, a First Book about Evolution will be running a workshop on evolution, with a hands on activity creating a timeline.

An evening of music from local super-talented singer/songwriter and guitarist, Rebecca Hollweg, of whom The Sunday Times described as having "Something of Joni Mitchell in her searing vocal lines and Suzanne Vega in her confessional ones." Rebecca's music has been widely played on BBC Radio and she's performed all over the U.K. and Europe and will have just returned from an Australian tour. Joined by husband Andy Hamil on double bass, Andy has accompanied the likes of Van Morrison, Annie Lennox and Kylie Minogue.

Feb 23rd, 7pm till 10:30pm A live culinary showdown where the guests put on there judges hats and determine the best amongst two passionate chefs. Gleat is a new food start up App that allows people to set up a pop up restaurant in their own home, choosing what they will make, the time and date they will be cooking, the number of guests they are willing to welcome and the cost of the meal.

Disappearing Dining Club Supper Club Style Restaurant Night
Nov 21st, 7pm The Disappearing Dining Club are hosting a supper club style restaurant night at The Glebe House London. Four courses and a welcome cocktail, £55. And a selection of drinks will be available to buy from DDC staff on the night. £1 per person for each ticket sold will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.
